The production, sales and use of recycled cotton yarn have formed a relatively complete small industrial chain. Among the uses of cotton-type recycled yarn, 1/3 is used to produce denim, 1/3 is used to produce curtains and sofa fabrics, and the rest is used to produce work gloves and mops. Chemical fiber recycled yarn is mostly used to produce decorative fabrics, gloves, mops and fillings. The recycled cotton yarn textile industry is developing rapidly, and related recycled cotton yarn production clusters have been formed in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province and other places. According to a relevant survey by the China Cotton Textile Industry Association, in the Wangli recycled cotton yarn base in Cangnan, Wenzhou, there are about 500 manufacturers that process recycled cotton yarn using air-spinning technology. According to incomplete statistics, there are hundreds of small factories that process and produce recycled cotton yarn. 2/3 of the town's people are engaged in the production and circulation of recycled cotton yarn, with an annual output of about 8 million tons of yarn. Representative enterprises include Wanjia Cotton Yarn, Jiaxin Cotton Yarn, and Xusheng Cotton Spinning. The recycled cotton yarn textile industry has become the main economic pillar of the local area.
